Privacy Notice
Effective 18 August 2026
SGAlpha is a small, independent community alpha. We collect only what is reasonably needed to create accounts, run the game, protect the community and troubleshoot problems. We do not sell player data or use it for advertising.
Information we handle
- Your chosen username and character gender setting.
- Your generated game key, account status, characters, inventory, progress, guild and other in-game activity.
- Invitation use, security events and basic connection or diagnostic records used to prevent abuse and keep the service working.
- Preferences saved by the game client in your own browser, such as display settings and a remembered username when you choose that option.
We do not ask for your personal email address or a personal password during the current invitation flow. Do not reuse your game key anywhere else.
Why we use it
We use this information to register and authenticate players, save game progress, operate community features, enforce fair-play rules, investigate incidents, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain backups and improve the alpha.
Service providers and location
Core account and game data is hosted on our server in Singapore. Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the website and performs the human verification on the registration form. Cloudflare may process connection and security information through its global network under its own privacy terms.
Retention and protection
Account and character data is retained while the alpha operates and for as long as reasonably needed for security, backups, dispute handling or legal obligations. Invitation codes are stored only as non-reversible digests. We use access controls, encrypted connections, limited service permissions and backups, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct information linked to your account, or request account deletion or withdrawal from the alpha. Some records may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where reasonably needed for security or legal purposes. Contact the organiser through the same private channel that supplied your invitation and never include your game key or PIN in the request.
Changes and questions
We may update this notice as the alpha changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. For privacy questions or complaints, contact the organiser through your invitation channel. A dedicated public privacy contact must be added before registration opens beyond the controlled alpha.
