Why this exists

A childhood world,

SGAlpha started with a simple frustration: I wanted to revisit a game that shaped my childhood, but I was on a Mac and the path back felt harder than the adventure itself.

What began as a weekend experiment became a small Singapore-hosted home for anyone who remembers first job changes, crowded Prontera streets, late-night party chat and hunting far too long for one card.

This is not a studio or a storefront. It is a careful nostalgia project—built in the open, grown by invitation and shaped with the people who choose to spend an evening here.

SGAlpha currently runs on my own budget. Before any public contribution option opens, I will resolve the licensing, tax and payment-account questions, publish what the server actually costs, and keep support completely separate from gameplay.

Costs, not perks

Future contributions would cover hosting, backups, the domain and monitoring—never items, rates, ranks or queue priority.
